Our New Market

Summary: SS wondering when the new market house will be completed; not having one is very injurous to the town. Its residents are inconvenienced and it prevents newcomers from settling.

Excerpt: Let the young ladies and gentlemen, instead of snoozing lazily in their beds, rise with the sun, and hie to the market, and we can soon make it not only a useful institution but a charming place of resort.
