Another Soldier Gone
(Column 2)Summary: Reports the death of John M. Ross, of Company B, 190th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteers. Ross died in Waynesboro on December 12 of chronic diarrhea at the age of 22 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He served three years with the Pennsylvania Reserves before re-enlisting. He was taken prisoner in Petersburg on August 19 and was released in October.
