STOP THE VILLAIN! 20 Dollars Reward. RAN AWAY on the night of the 25th July from the subscriber, near this city, GEORGE , A stout made mulatto man about 24 or 25 years of age, 5 feet 9 or 10 inches high, with a conspicuous scar under his left jaw occasioned by a defective tooth; a large scar on the back of his right hand from the cut of a knife, and a small one in the forehead occasioned by some accident when a child , stutters a little when about to speak, a boushy head of hair, legs rather small from the constant use of boots, and generally of sulky looks and temper: he knows a little of the shoemaker's trade, and is, when he pleases, a very complete domestic servant. As he has several times travelled with me into the northern states, he may possibly endeavour to go that way, or towards Kentucky, where his mother and other companions are. The above reward will be paid on delivering him to me, or lodging him in some publick jail, so that I get him again. John Mayo. Richmond, Aug. 5, '99.
