The Geography of Slavery

Ran away. FROM the subscriber on the 31st of March last, a negro fellow by the name of TOM, about 38 years of age. SIX Dollars Reward will be given on delivery of said Tom or securing him in any jail so that I get him again. ALSO ABSCONDED, From the subscriber on the 29th of May, a stout well-made fellow, named LEWIS, about 27 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, not very black; has a small wen on each of his cheeks, and has a small impediment in his speech when attacked sharp. SIX Dollars Reward will be given for the delivery, or for securing said Lewis in any jail, so that I get him again.
