Ten Dollars Reward: RAN AWAY from the subscriber, about the 1st of June, a negro lad named BOB; about eighteen or nineteen years of age, of a yellowish complexion, about five feet high, very bow-legg'd, has thick lips, and a down look when spoken to. He was taken up in Fredericksburg some time ago, and brought as low as Hanover Courthouse, from whence he made his escape, and I expect is still lurking about that place. He is an artful, cunning fellow, & may endeavour to pass as a free man. He is fond of gaming. Whoever will deliver him to me near Richmond, or secure him in any jail so that I get him again, shall receive the above reward. FRANCIS LEWIS. Henrico, July 23, 1793.
