Ranaway from the subscriber, the 24th of last month, a mulatto named TOM, the property of Mrs. Peyton:--TOM is a spare made fellow, about 5 feet 6 inches high; had on when he went away, a blue plains coat and waistcoat, and negro cotton trowsers. It is probable he is about the hon. James Mercer's quarter (a few miles from Fredericksburg) as he has a brother there.--I will give Five Dollars reward for apprehending and securing said mulatto so that I get him again; and all persons are hereby forbid harbouring him. VINCENT WHITEHEAD. Fredericksburg, June 5, 1793.
