RAN AWAY form the subscriber living in Albemarle county, in May last, a short well made negro man named JAMES, of a black complexion, talks tolerably sensible, had when he went away the mark of the letter R, on one of his cheeks, though perhaps he may have defaced it since he went off; his dress I cannot describe. Whoever takes up James and delivers him to me or secures him in any jail, so that I get him, shall have TEN DOLLARS reward. All persons are forewarned from taking him on board of any vessel. ACHILLS [sic] ROGERS. January 8, 1793.
