The Geography of Slavery

Virginia Herald and Fredericksburg Advertiser (Green),
Fredericksburg, December 27, 1792

Thirty Dollars Reward, FOR apprehending and delivering to me three Negro Fellows--GEORGE, AARON & BILL, or securing them in gaol so that I get them, or Ten Dollars for either of them. AARON is about 20 years of age, very stout, his complexion dark; has on the top of his nose the mark of a heart.---The others are of a yellow complexion, about twenty four years of age,:---The fellow called George, has a little stammering in his speech--they are both of middle size. A description of their cloaths is thought useless, as they are artful fellows and will change them. RICHARD R. ALEXANDER. Fanquier county, Virginia, December 20, 1792.
