Virginia Gazette or American Advertiser (Hayes),
Richmond, December 31, 1785.

COMMITTED to the Gaol in Staunton, Augusta County, a negro man, who says his name is DANIEL, and belongs to a certain William Ledford, of North-Carolina; was carried by some persons into Pennsylvania, about 5 years ago. He is a low fat fellow, about 35 years of age, and very sensible; his master is desired to come and prove his property, pay charges, and take him away. Dec. 3, 1785. THOMAS RHODES, Gaoler.
