TWENTY DOLLARS REWARD. RAN away this morning from the Subscriber, a very likely Mulatto man, named SANCHO, about 5 feet 4 inches high, about 26 years of age, and his hair straight for his colour: He had on and took with him one dark broadcloth coat with a brown velvet cape and buttons at the sleeves, one short dark country coat, white cloth jacket and breeches, two pair of yarn stockings, one pair of old boots, one pair of old shoes and a new felt hat with red lining. He is very artful and sensible, is a middling good carpenter and can do something at most kinds of work.-----It is expected he has a pass and will change his name.---Whoever takes up said fellow and secures him so that his Master may get him again, shall receive TEN DOLLARS if twenty miles from home, and if above that distance the above reward, and reasonable charges paid if brought home. JAMES PERRY. Montgomery County, Maryland, June 20, 1785. I expect he will endeavour to get on board some ship or go to the back country.
