Williamsburg, July 4, 1777.

RUN away from the subscriber in Frederick county, near Winchester, WILLIAM PHILIPS, an indented servant, who is a small spare made man, about 20 years old, and had on a country linen shirt and trousers. Also two negro men, one a large well set Virginia born fellow, named GUY; the other a small squat outlandish fellow, named TOM. Whoever secures the said runaways in any jail, so that I get them again, shall have 20 dollars reward. REBEKAH SMITH.
