The Geography of Slavery

RUN away last Saturday, from Williamsburg, two English indented servants the property of the subscriber. One is named JOHN FLEMING, about 27 years of age, thin visaged, and of a sallow complexion; had on when he went off a brown holland short coat and jacket, and wears trousers. He is by trade a painter, drawer, and silversmith. The other GEORGE WASSILL, about 17 years of age, strong made, and much pitted with the smallpox; he wears a blue jacket and trousers, and is by trade a shoemaker. Whoever will secure the aforesaid servants shall receive, on their being secured in any publick jail, ore delivered to me at Norfolk, a reward of 30 s. for each, besides what the law allows.
