John Johnston, about 33 years of age, 5 feet 6 or 7 inches high, remarkably thin and thin visaged, has a wide mouth and long teeth, is pretty talkative, and took with him some cooper's tools, a light coloured coat, a dirty white working jacket, a pair of old doe skin and a pair of black knit breeches, a new hat, and can wear his own short light brown hair, or a wig, at pleasure. Whoever secures the said runaway, so as I may have him again, shall have three pounds, besides what the law allows. GEORGE LESLIE.
