RUN away from on board the Matty, lying in Pagan Creek, on the 21st of April, a Negro Man named JACK, alias Phil, about twenty one Years of Age, five Feet nine Inches high, of a yellow Complexion, proportionably made, and has lost two Joints of two of his Fingers on his right Hand; he had on a new green Coat, a blue Jacket, a Pair of gray Breeches, a white Shirt, and a Pair of black Stockings. This Fellow is the Property of Mr. Thomas Gordon of Petersbursburg, [sic] who has already advertised him in this Gazette. I will give a Reward of TWENTY SHILLINGS, besides what is allowed by Law, to any Person who delivers him to his said Master in Petersburg, Mr. Hugh M'Mekin in Portsmouth, or to Mr. Andrew Mackie near Smithfield.
