The Geography of Slavery

RUN away from the Subscriber, at Cabin Point, on the 5th of December, two Negroes, namely, GROVES, a stout made Fellow, about five Feet eight Inches high, between twenty five and thirty Years of Age. FRANK, a stout likely Negro, about five Feet nine or ten Inches high, and about twenty five Years of Age. They carried with them, when they went off, two new Duffil Blankets, and the other Part of their Clothing much ragged and tore. They formerly belonged to Mr. Thomas Stoakes, of Gloucester, in which County and in Mr. Stoakes's Neighbourhood, I understand they are lurking. Whoever apprehends the said Slaves, and delivers them to me, at Cabin Point, shall have a Reward of FIVE POUNDS. All Persons are forewarned harbouring or carrying them out of the Colony, at their Peril. WILLIAM HENDERSON.
