Williamsburg, November 23, 1769.

RUN away from the subscriber, in Amelia county, in August last, a Mulatto man named Sam, about 35 years old, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, very well made, and is branded on each cheek with the letters I R, which form a sort of scar . Whoever takes up and secures said slave so that I get him again; or delivers him to me, or to Mr. Henry Randolph, in Chesterfield, shall have THREE POUNDS reward. JOHN RANDOLPH.
