Oliver Hill, Reuben Lawson and students to the US Courthouse

No spoken word. Footage of blacks from Floyd and Grayson county being led to the door of
the US Western District Court in Roanoke by Oliver Hill, chief counsel for the NAACP in
Virginia, and led into the court by their attorney Reuben Lawson of Roanoke. The entrance
proceeded an evidentiary hearing by Federal Judge Roby Thompson concerning the
desegregation of schools in Floyd county. In addition there was footage of Attorney
General Albertis Harrison and two unidentified white men as they entered the court.
[footage aired on the morning of the ninth,
but was shot on the afternoon of the eighth.]
