Governor Almond Proposes New Program of Resistance to Racial Ingegration continued
|
|
Continued from clip 2_25: Governor Almond addressed a joint General Assembly and
supported the Perrow Commission proposals. Almond claimed that massive resistance was not
a formulation of "fruitless laws in contravention of federal power," but rather rested
within the individual citizen. And that "the right to associate carries with it the right
not to associate."
