Interview with Albert Rolston
|
|
In an interview with a WSLS reporter, Albert Rolston, Chairman of the Committee for
Public Education, asserted he would do his best to assure that the public school system
would remain part of Virginia's constitution. With the recent court order for integration,
Rolston expressed his hope that the bitterness surrounding the failure of massive
resistance in Charlottesville would abate so the citizens could move toward better
understanding and cooperation.
