Danville Demonstrations, Prayer
|
|
Danville protesters paused on the court house steps for a prayer and then to sing "We
shall overcome." Meanwhile, after the court injunction against such protests, Danville
city officials blocked off the court house steps with barricades, leaving the bronze
statue of former Mayor alone on the steps.
