Adlai Stevenson in Charlottesville
|
|
Adlai Stevenson visited the University of Virginia. When asked by Patterson if an
article in the Cavalier Daily announcing his run for the presidency was accurate,
Stevenson replied, "of course this represents the very good judgment and discrimination
of some of my friends." Stevenson then said his friends comments were "at least four or
eight years late."
