Mr. Hitler is a very fastidious sort of gentleman. Several weeks ago he decided to put a stop to certain box car insults that had grown to be a past time in Latavia, so he sent four German destroyers on a "friendly" visit to Riga, capital of that country. After the visit, the Latavian government promised to check up on its "markers" and refrain from calling Mr. Hitler mean names.

Several days ago, Dr. Daniel Mulvihill was smacked by a storm trooper because the American medica refused to salute a passing Nazi parade. Alfred Ernest, division chief of Berlin storm troopers, promised American Ambassador Dodd that the same would not happen again--Heaven forbid!

Seven Southern States spend $44.31 per child on white children and $12.57 cents per child on negro school children. These figures were presented by professor Mabel Carney in her plea to the United States Government for aid for negro education in the South. Professor Carney recently completed a survey of the educational conditions in the South.
